It will cover the servers installed at client organization

Deliverables -

• Orderly system startup and shutdown of servers as per laid down procedures
• Continuous monitoring of server resources (CPU, Disk, Memory, SWAP space, processes and services etc.) and taking appropriate actions whenever required.
• Verifying logs in event logger and periodically clean up log files
• Monitor user authentication (details of users logging in and logging out)
• Security management – Configuring Account policy, Access rights, Password control, OS Hardening as per organization Policy.
• Patch Management – Apply the patches identified and certified by Organization.
• Creating new file systems and correcting file system inconsistencies.
• Creating / modifying users and groups.
• Installation of OS upgrades and patches as and when provided by Organization / vendor.
• Installation of latest Antivirus updates by checking the same on a daily basis
• Performing periodic system performance tuning – changing the system configuration parameters and re-organizing the disk space etc.
• Creation/Movement of user ids
• Escalating unresolved problems to the principal / hardware vendor for ensuring resolution.
• Managing incidents, where by all the critical events/activities carried out on the servers with regard to OS, patch upgrades, installation/removal of applications has to be logged and up to date report maintained server wise
• Maintain list of all system files, root directories and volumes
• Monitoring of correct back up of the file systems
• Ensure latest anti-virus updates on the server
• Recover the servers from Crashes
